About me and my philosophy
Hi, I’m Kerry — founder of Flourish and Fizz, a space created to uplift, inspire, and empower women navigating the beautiful, complex journey of midlife.
For over 20 years, I’ve led and coached teams with a deep focus on people — their wellbeing, their engagement, and their growth. As a workplace wellbeing and people engagement lead, I’ve made it my mission to create environments where individuals feel valued, supported, and heard. I also proudly serve as a menopause ambassador, advocating for awareness, compassion, and meaningful change in how we support women at work.
But Flourish and Fizz was born from something even more personal.
I live in the heart of Wiltshire with my husband Miles — we’re about to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary — and our three wonderful children, the youngest just stepping into adulthood.
Our home is filled with love, laughter, and a touch of chaos thanks to our two cats, Milo and Luna, and our dog Freddie, who is (unapologetically) the love of my life — yes, my husband knows!
At 40, I entered perimenopause. It took four long years to be diagnosed, and during that time, I felt unheard, unseen, and uncertain. I lost parts of myself — my confidence, my clarity, my spark. Now, as I approach my 50th birthday in 2026, I’m firmly in menopause and finally reclaiming my voice. That experience lit a fire in me — a desire to ensure no woman feels alone or dismissed in her midlife journey.
Flourish and Fizz is my love letter to women over 40.
It’s a place where we can dive into a vibrant lifestyle blog, a delightful blend of passions where we celebrate the joy of home décor, the comfort of cooking, menopause, gardening, wellbeing, the escape of a good book, and the power of honest conversation. It’s where we talk about menopause, identity, purpose, and the messy magic of midlife. It’s where we reconnect with ourselves — and each other.
I created this space to help women flourish with intention and fizz with joy. Because we deserve to be heard. We deserve to be celebrated. And we deserve to thrive.
